- The ChargeSource system supports most portable electronic devices. Refer to the SmartTips listing in the ChargeSource store to see the devices we currently support.
- 2. How many devices can I charge at the same time?
- With the standard configuration you can charge two devices at the same time. With the purchase of additional Y-cables and SmartTips you can charge up to four devices at the same time.
- 3. What happens when my device is fully charged?
- Your ChargeSource system will operate in the same manner as the original equipment charger that was included with your device.
- 4. Can I use the USB charging cable from my device on the ChargeSource?
- You can use the USB cable from your device with the standard USB SmartTip kit. However, the charge rate will be similar to the charge rate of a standard USB port. Choosing a SmartTip for your specific device will provide the optimal charge.
- 5. Will the ChargeSource power and charge my device at the same time?
- The ChargeSource system will power and charge your device in the same manner as the original charger.
- 6. Can I charge two laptops at the same time?
- The built-in power management feature of the ChargeSource system will not allow two laptops to be charged simultaneously.
- 7. How can I use the ChargeSource when I travel outside the US?
- The ChargeSource is designed to receive power from most countries in the world. You may need to use a travel adapter to adapt from the US plug to the country specific outlet. You DO NOT need to use a voltage converter.
- 8. Is the ChargeSource as safe as my original adapter?
- Yes. The ChargeSource has been designed to charge and power your device by delivering power to the same specifications as the original equipment charger for your device.
- 9. Is the ChargeSource as fast as my original adapter?
- Yes. The ChargeSource delivers the same current and voltage to your device as the original equipment charger. This ensures your device will charge in the same amount of time.
- 10. What if there are no SmartTips for my device?
- SmartTips are available for most electronic devices. If one is not available for your device and your device came equipped with a USB cable, you can use the USB SmartTip to charge your device with your USB cable.
